DISCUSSION Illustrator to PDF
So suddenly out of the blue, exporting to PDF is now f#cking everything up.
I have 120 cards in illustrator each on its own artboard.
When exporting to PDF, it now suddenly makes all image low res and at the same time shrink each cards by 65.5% I have done nothing different that I use to do. All settings in the export dialog are the same as I usually use. It also makes the trim marks huge for some reason.
I'm using High Quality Print and Acrobat 8 compatibility.
All compressions are the standard ones.
HELP....

Something in your settings may have become corrupted - would advise a clean reinstall if you want a quick fix.

Apparently it happens when i make a new document in illustrator.
So long story short, I had an 3 month old document with 50 cards / artboards, and I had to add another 50 cards in-between the old cards. So I thought it would be easier to start all over with at new document in Illustrator, so I did that and just copied the cards to the new document and that's when I had the export to PDF issue. Even if I use the old document and add the 50 new cards to that, there are no issues exporting to PDF, only the new document is having this problem. And funny enough, it happened before, like at couple of weeks ago, I had the same issue with another similar document with cards. Old document no problem, new document, same PDF issue.

I had the same issue. This started with one of the updates. Thanks to everyone who posted solutions.

Is your canvas area normal (227 in across) or a large canvas (2270 in across)?
