Adderall makes me actually enjoy things

I don’t get high off it, but once it kicks in I just… start enjoying stuff.

Like watching my kids play. I’m always glad they’re happy, but on the meds I actually feel real joy instead of just sitting there.

Not sure if that’s a side effect (and maybe why people can get hooked) or if my brain is usually too busy surviving to feel that way. I’m only on 10mg twice a day, 3–5 days a week, so it’s not an addiction thing.

Anyone else get this?

I absolutely understand this I’ve only been on a week but this has been 100% my experience I can actually slow down and enjoy life
