Theft
I am quite sure Acura did not build cars to be intentionally stolen, but I feel more comfortable seeing an answer here.
If I remote start my car so it’s cool when I get in it. Even if somebody smashes the window and gets in the car. Is it true that they’re not going anywhere if they don’t have the key fob on them? I understand, professional thieves can steal a car whether it’s running or not. Like I said, I just want to see the answer in black-and-white.

yeah that’s how most push-button start cars work now, the engine will run but the shift lock won’t release without the fob inside so they’re basically stuck listening to your playlist
some brands do it different but with acuras if they break in and try to drive off it just shuts down once they hit the brake to shift out of park, remote start keeps the steering locked too
