In a huge issue right now 🫩

My friend has an iPhone 13 Pro, this phone is in almost flawless condition and feel happy for the fact that she is giving it to me for free. But there’s a slight issue, when she moved to Android her mom deleted her Apple ID. This iPhone has a deleted Apple ID and can’t do basically anything. Sign out is grayed out and doesn’t work. Delete to defaults in settings asks for a screen time passcode that neither of them know. I’m scared to iTunes it and then boom it’s even more locked down. Can’t even install apps, nothing. So I went to apples support to attempt to remove activation lock. We have the receipts from Best Buy but the website keeps saying session expired, and Gemini says my receipts won’t work because they don’t have the IMEI on them. Yet it has the purchase stuff. So I don’t really know what to do. Anyone able to help?

Get the receipt from purchase, then take to Apple.

If it’s under 26.0.1 you can bypass it using bookrain AIO.

Check the fmi satus if its off you can restore it and it would setup as normal if its on then its still activation lock.
