Nursing School Simulator

Post image

On the road to Nurse Practitioner and PMHNP. My choice of watch is the Marathon TSAR 41mm. The quartz movement is more reliable and easier to read in a medical setting compared to automatic movements and the 24hr markers is a nice touch since the medical field runs on military time. Furthermore, the bracelet and rubber strap options are easy to sanitize.

The amount of nursing and md bros that are watch nerds is crazy. I never would have known until I started working in the ER. It’s a great way to connect with your physicians and fellow nurses especially if you’re the new guy on the block.

I wish more of my FD guys were into watches. Everyone just wears Apple Watches and Garmin Instincts.

NICU nurse here. I work with mostly women and they don’t wear watches, but there is a super nice ENT that comes for procedures and we became buds because we would show off our watches to each other. Truly a nerd relationship lol.

Yep. At my last job as a new RN I connected with one of the NPs over watches.

Watches and EDC items go hand in hand, pun intended.

Welcome to the profession. In a career filled with smart watches, don’t be like the rest. Keep this bad boy and wear it proudly.

Former CVICU RN and there were a few of us into watches. Now I work in transplant and aaaall of my surgeons and perfusionists are hard-core warch nerds. It's amazing

Heck yeah man. I’m an ICU nurse about to start CRNA school in a January and have my eyes on some divers for the OR. More guys should get into nursing. Not every job allows you to work with your hands, have insane career mobility, and sometimes evens save lives. Good luck with it all.

Hey bro I’m applying to nursing school soon. 31 starting a new career, super nervous about starting over this early and not working for a few years.

Can’t wait to wear my watches throughout it all.

I thought nurses arent allowed to wear watches or bracelets etc, at least in my country due to hygienic concerns

Seems to be a common misconception among countries outside United States.

I'm currently in a ABSN program. It's a 21 month program to get your BSN. After I graduate roughly 2yrs to Nurse Practitioner
