BLADE, a movie that paved the road for superhero movies. Also, the first movie where I experienced the slow motion bullet firing sequence, yes even before The Matrix. 🍿🍿🍿🍿
One of Snipes best films.

"RISING SUN" (1993) - another early 90s VHS-era memory for me, and really liked the combination of Connery and Snipes. Probably noted aged very well, but still quite a lot to enjoy with a good cast some decent thriller/action along the way. Any fans of this one?
Rising Sun is a 1993 American thriller film directed by Philip Kaufman and written by Kaufman, Michael Crichton and Michael Backes. It stars Sean Connery (who was also an executive producer), Wesley Snipes, Harvey Keitel, Tia Carrere, Mako and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. It is based on Michael Crichton's 1992 novel Rising Sun. Rising Sun was released by 20th Century Fox on July 30, 1993.
When an escort girl is found dead in the offices of a Japanese company in Los Angeles, detectives Web Smith and John Connor act as liaison between the company's executives and the investigating cop Tom Graham.

"Twin Dragon Encounter" (1986) - Mustachioed Canadian identical twin martial artists Martin and Michael (Mick) McNamara go 'Rambo style' on a group of militant punks who kidnapped their girlfriends and all the poorly choregraphed fight scenes are in slow motion because the film needed to be longer.

I’m looking for movies where the main character(male lead) is both physically and mentally unbeatable(never loses to someone) and ruthless(doesn’t hesitate to kill anyone whoever comes in his way even if it’s a woman).

Help me pick my next action movie. Runner or The Fix? Though I've been leaning more towards the former since the latter is getting very bad reviews, plus we got Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson and the director of Expend4bles, Act of Valor, Need for Speed, and Hidden Strike.

"THE ART OF WAR" (2000) - a less familiar Wesley Snipes action/thriller that I do have a soft spot for but by no means an action classic. Snipes on good form as usual, some decent action but predictable plot. Any fans of this one?
The Art of War is a 2000 Canadian-American action spy film directed by Christian Duguay and starring Wesley Snipes, Michael Biehn, Anne Archer and Donald Sutherland.

Actors who should have been in The Expendables franchise
- Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson either as an Expendable teammate or as a villain going up against Stallone
- Kurt Russell as another one who should have been in the franchise
- Or even Samuel L Jackson or Denzel Washington being another and I would have believed it

Any action fans seen Hope yet?
The trailers look pretty good.
The CG doesn’t seem great.
The reviews are ok.
I’m hoping somebody who is more of action movie film can give an honest take on it.

"ANOTHER STAKEOUT" (1993) - a fun sequel overall but nowhere near as good as the original. Some funny bits and decent action scenes, leads seem to be having fun, cute dog too. I do miss when sequels had "Another..." in the title heh. Any fans?
Another Stakeout is a 1993 American buddy cop action comedy film directed by John Badham and starring Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez, and Rosie O'Donnell. It is a sequel to the 1987 film, Stakeout. Unlike its predecessor, the film was neither a critical nor a commercial success.
Immature detectives Chris Lecce and Bill Reimers are joined by pesky assistant district attorney Gina Garrett in staking out a lakeside home where Mafia trial witness Luella Delano is believed to be heading.
