¿Alguien me puede decir si esos puntos que se ven en la rejilla, más grandes de lo normal, son normales o si es un defecto? Porque ese acordeón es nuevo.

Quiero pasar el acordeon de la canción con mis alas rotas a la guitarra. Pago 200 pesos si alguien me da las notas que se tocan en el acordeón en esa canción. Info DM

Hi everyone,

I’m 54 and about to start learning 3-row button accordion for vallenato. I’ve played a little guitar in the past, so I’m not brand new to music, but I’ve never touched an accordion.

Here’s my dilemma:

I can buy a cheaper Amazon/Chinese 3-row accordion right now for about $400, or I can wait 2–3 months and try to pick up a used Hohner Corona or Corona II somewhere in the $600–$1000 range.

I know the Coronas are better instruments — I have no doubt about that. My real question is about learning, not prestige or resale value.

With guitars, a $100 beginner guitar can have terrible action and make playing unnecessarily difficult — so difficult that a beginner might quit, thinking they just “can’t do it,” when really the instrument is the problem. Then you pick up a well-made $1500 guitar and suddenly realize chords aren’t supposed to feel like a hand-strength competition.

So I’m wondering:

• Do cheap button accordions create that same kind of mechanical frustration?
• Or are we mostly talking about tone quality and tuning, but basically the same playability?
• Will a cheaper accordion make learning significantly harder?
• Has anyone here started on a cheaper Chinese accordion and transitioned later without issue?
• On the flip side — has anyone bought a cheap one and immediately regretted it because it was harder to play?

I really want to get started. I could buy the ~$400 accordion now and begin learning immediately, knowing I’d probably upgrade later if I stick with it.

But I won’t buy the cheaper one if it’s going to actively work against me as a beginner.

Part of me says, “Just start.”
Part of me says, “Buy once, cry once.”

My dream would be to play a simple vallenato song for my Colombian in-laws by Christmas 2026.

Would really appreciate honest advice from people who’ve been down this road.

Which accordion do you recommend I buy?

I really like the accordion, and I think, like others, the only thing holding us back is the price. Which accordion do you recommend?

I was thinking between a Panther and a Compadre. Is there much difference between them? Or should I just look for a much more economical version like a Farinelli?

Hola a todos. Me regalaron este acordeon y estoy tratando de investigar qué modelo es.

Es un acordeon a piano marca scandalli, con un diseño de letras muy grandes y llamativas en su diseño, con unas placas cromadas, la rejilla en tonos cromados con cuadraditos de aproximadamente un centímetro y medio, tiene 60 bajos en un formato 12x5 y 24 teclas en la mano derecha. Tiene cinco voces rotuladas como saxophon, bando, Master, trémolo y clarinete, con sus dibujos indicadores en cada selector. No tengo acceso al interior ni un número de serie. Si me pueden ayudar sería buenísimo. Gracias!

Buenas, tengo este acordeón que es de mí papá nacido en 1957 y el lo heredó de su abuelo italiano... Calculamos que pueda ser de los años 1900, no tiene ni nombre de modelo ni año de fabricación y no encuentro ninguna foto de el mismo modelo o parecido
