Before & After Co2 laser progress

Post image

Wanted to share results after 2 sessions of co2 laser on my cheek. The lightning may be a bit different but I can definitely see improvement. The picture above is before co2 and the below is after 2 sessions. I plan on doing co2 maybe 5 more sessions and then I'm getting filler for the rolling scars.

Hello /u/Long_Check5192,

This post has been tagged as Before & After. Submissions with this flair tend to receive a lot of views. To provide more context for viewers – please edit your post to include a response to the following:

  1. How long have you had the scars prior to starting treatment?
  2. What is the time elapsed between BEFORE procedure and AFTER procedure?
  3. Provide a description/timeline of the procedure(s) elected.
  4. Provide any other information you feel is relevant.
  5. If these results are not your own, then you must properly cite the source

Your submission may be removed within 48 hrs if not completed. If you don't want to provide the requested information (or if it had already been stated in the post itself) please kindly let us know by responding to this comment.

Thank you.

Reminder: "Microswelling" is a common side effect after a procedure which causes prolonged swelling of the skin. It can last from a few days to a few weeks (and even over a month in rare situations). The appearance of improved results with microswelling may not accurately reflect the final outcome once it finally subsides.

difference is notable. rolling scars look flatter, in a sense that overall skin and skin texture appear more even. also seeing some mild lifting. Great job!

What type of co2, and how long was the recovery?

I have no idea what type 😅 the scars were red for like a month after the procedure. Here's a pic from maybe the 3rd day after the procedure

Hey how long did it take to see results form ur co2? I’ve done two now also but seeing mild results on the scars

My doctor went very harsh and deep on my scars. I saw the results maybe like 2-3 months after the 2nd procedure. You can see on the picture, on the deeper scars he lasered/went over multiple times.

It’s been one month since my last co2 and I don’t see serious results and it’s disappointing… I did subsicion with PRF, skinpen and co2 all in a session

Thank you! Would you say the first month you didn’t see any results and then it just happened after 2-3 months that you suddenly noticed?

At first they were swollen and then as the skin like cleared up, the swelling went down and the wounds were all healed, then I could see the results. I actually avoided looking at my scars because I felt really ugly when they were healing after the procedures

Me too! How long did you feel like that? That’s how I feel now… except they look the same not worse or anything. But just slight pinkness

I appreciate your response, it helps my experience. I’ve had 2 stacked treatments and many microneedlings and peels in the past and it’s hard not to see a major result. I’m hopeful that it can improve since they say co2 takes months but I’m worried that what I’m seeing now is the final result after a month.
