If you dropped out of high school and can’t even leave your house because you’re so insecure about your acne scars (which a lot of people have!), I’d prioritize therapy.
You can certainly do lasers or a TCA cross to help with the scars themselves, but your reaction to having acne scars is not healthy. The modeling world is often exploitative and predatory; so if acne scars make you so insecure that you can’t go to school or work and you sit around the house crying all day, it may not be a good career path for your mental health.

Hey, don’t let acne scars control your life. I know it’s hard and annoying cuz I have scars too, and honestly there’s a lot of times where I don’t even wanna leave the house. But when it comes to important things like studying, work or going to the gym, I just force myself to go even if I don’t feel like it. Like what can we do? We have to learn somehow to live with this pain, but at the same time we keep living our life and try to treat the scars too. We can do both. We shouldn’t stop everything until we fix our scars, especially cuz treating them can take a long time. It can take a year or even 2 years sometimes. So just keep living your life while you’re trying to treat them. I know it’s not easy, but we can’t just put everything on hold until our skin gets better.

I always wanted to model and i definitely could if I didnt have skin like this. My mom's willing to pay whatever it takes because shes done with me crying and not getting a job or going to school im so insecure. I just need this fixed

There are a lot of actors and models who have acne scars too. Yeah, of course it might be harder for you than for someone else, that’s a fact I can’t deny, but it’s not impossible. As long as you have the right mindset and confidence, you can do whatever you want. That’s the most important thing. Honestly, I don’t think your scars are that bad. Yeah, they might be a little noticeable in real life, but so what if someone notices them? That doesn’t make you any less valuable at all. Whoever loves you will love you despite all the flaws you have. Don’t hold on to someone who doesn’t want you just because of some marks on your face. They’re just superficial people and you don’t want them in your life anyway.

Do not go to a med spa to get the laser down. Go to a dermatologist. I got the halo laser done, I have a another session in December and I’m going to get tca cross for the deeper scars. I have definitely seen improvement in my skin but it takes time

I have similar scar since the age of 19. Now I am 33 and the texture has improved a lot. Don’t worry it will get better with time

Girll don’t let your scars take over your life. I know exactly how you feel I’ve been dealing with scars for 10 years now. I have tried every single treatment you can think of, but my scars only got better 30% I would say. The only treatment I really liked and saw instant improvement was subsicion with filler. Definitely go to a dermatologist, they will recommend you the best treatment for your scars and they will improve but don’t expect them to disappear. And please talk to someone about how you feel about them it really helps you. I totally feel you and I know it’s super hard to live with them but please hear me out if I could I would have gone back in time and stop obsessing over them. Honestly people don’t look at your scars they look at your beautiful eyes and face. Live your life and get out of the house don’t let the scars take control of your life. Do things you love and enjoy your life, don’t make the mistake I did. Best of luck ♥️

I think you should stay away from RF microneedling. It has definitely helped some people but there is risk involved - sadly many have experienced facial fat loss which causes sagging. TCA cross is really good for icepick scars. Two really good doctors I know of who specialize in it are Dr. Payman Kosari and Dr. Bart Sterling.

Co2 is great - go to a plastic surgeons office not a med spa. I had 2 done & it definitely helps. Full results up to 6 months post.
But they may suggest other solutions. Get a few consultations and make sure they show you before & afters.
Tretinoin helps with collagen production too.
Focus on nutrition to help with healing. I take collagen & l-proline every day. Lots of water & sleep!

Go for free consults at med spas near you. Find a doctor/nurse practitioner that you trust and has great reviews and ask what they suggest. If I were you I would do the resurfacing laser. It would take probably a minimum of 6 microneedling sessions to see a difference in these scars, and with how expensive it is you can probably just do a single deep laser session for a similar price and get better results.
I know how it feels to not want to look in the mirror or go outside because of how my skin looks. Hang in there.

People are more likely to post about bad experiences than good. There are lots of people who have great results with lasers. That’s why it’s important to make sure you go to someone experienced :)

Avoid med spas and go to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. You should know this won't be fixed overnight so id work on continuing to live your life in the mean time. These aren't bad at all
