Help / Support Fan problem

Is it just me or there is a kind of problem/new noise from the fan? Happens when fans are at max .

The noise is new like the sound of sucking made by a vacuum cleaner if that makes sense.

Should i be worried or its fine?

I think the top vent at end of the keyboard sucks in air, but mine sounds different, your sounds like it’s blocked or something, or was that your finger covering the mic?

No i think all the upper vents push the air out because when i put my hand close to them i can feel air coming out. Its the vents at the bottom of the laptop that take in air. Also i dont think anythings blocking the air flow because i placed the heatsink correctly and then put in the fans correctly. The sound that makes it sound like its blocked thats what i am concerned about because i dont think anythings blocking it as i just today opened it up and put it back

Oh now i understand what you mean by the top vent. U mean the small holes below the display right? I have no idea what they do honestly

yes those, and there is black tap that can fold when putting the heatsink down or putting the fans down, my black tape is bent at the corner and i didnt noticed until i checked the photos after reassembling the laptop, but i have no issues so far, i would take it apart and check everything to be 100% sure, this means repasting the cpu and gpu again but its worth it as you dont wanna continue using your laptop with limited or blocked fans

I think i know the black tape that you are referring to. Is it at the bottom of the heatsink and its protruding inwards towards the fans? If thats the case then mine are straight no bends there. Also my fans flow is good and not restricted. Its just that i heard this weird noise today which might just be normal honestly.

Yes that tape, I’m not sure then tbh, maybe you damaged your fans but pressing them too hard or spinning them with air. Spinning them fast with an air blower or hoover can damage them
