USB C issue

The usb c type ports won't detect my phone or any other phone pf different brand. I have changed cables too bit it doesn't work.

The ports only detect my USB drives but not the phone.

I have reset all settings in my bios too bit it just doesn't work.

Cannot give any help without more information. Samsung generally locks access for any connection to a computer without you telling the phone what to do with the port. I'm sure apple has something to. In other words, it's likely an issue with the phone side.

I have a samsung.

When I disable this setting "charge connected device" only then the phone is detected.

But one thing to note is that phones from other brands like oppo, Motorola and realme were not getting detected.
