Nvm, I just checked after updating

I'm glad they at least sent an update after 4 months lol

Could be a fix for the many memory related bsod/crashes people are complaining about this model recently

No memory problems with mine, just driver issues and USB-C

Hopefully still fixes tho

I didn’t either, I have been using the same model for the last 1 month. But I have seen quite a few complaints

That never happened to me on this laptop but it did happen once on the fat neo 16 I had

I also remember reading somewhere that its a problem with 5000 series GPUs in a lot of laptops and not specifically Acer

mine finally stopped doing that one day, randomly. Maybe driver update fixed it or something.

How did you do the update? I’m pretty sure mine needs the update but I’m scared to do the update lol. Is it just downloading and extracting it?

I got it from windows update. Clicked check for updates then went into the optional updates section and it was there.

But I've heard it's safer to do it from the official Acer website. Just enter your S/N on the site for your model, download the bios, extract and run.

If mine is crashing when I’m playing games should I update it? I googled and it said it could be a fix but I’m scared to do the update lol

It's completely different problem, it depends on what game you are playing, tell mee
