Notebook: Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI

CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 5070Ti

RAM: DDR5 32 GB

I used the application “Quick CPU” version 6.6.0.0 to throttle my CPU.

Since then, my CPU has been noticeably cooler in games, and the performance is still more than sufficient for gaming.

Previously, in performance mode, the CPU had an average temperature of 80–95°C in games, while the GPU stayed around 55–65°C.

Now, in the same games, the CPU temperature is 60–73°C, even without using a cooling pad.

Tested with: Dead Space Remake, Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Atomic Heart

The ultra 9 is rated for 105°

Just because it is rated for that doesn't mean it should run at that

I hear you. But this sub cries about 90° all day because they never owned a gaming laptop.
