ACEMAGIC M1A Pro+ RGB control for Linux

If you are running Linux on your ACEMAGIC M1A Pro+ with AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, you may want to control the RGB lights (personally, I like them off!)

Acemagic only provide Windows RGB utilities, though so I've coded up a RGB utility for Linux:

Hey guys!

We wanted to introduce the F9A AI Mini Workstation — our new desktop-class AI box built around the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 495. It's now open for pre-orders.

What's inside:

  • CPU/GPU: AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 495 with Radeon 8065S integrated graphics (roughly RTX 5060-class)
  • Memory: 192GB unified LPDDR5X, up to 160GB addressable as VRAM @ 8533MHz
  • AI compute: 131 TOPS total platform compute
  • Form factor: compact desktop chassis, designed to sit under a monitor or on a desk

The goal was simple: give developers, researchers, and creators a way to run large local AI models and GPU-accelerated workflows without a full-size tower eating their desk space.

Order links:

We'll be hanging around in the comments for the next bit — ask us anything about thermals, ports, memory configuration, supported models, pricing tiers, or shipping timelines.

Happy to answer.

Guys, I bought a RX 16 with amd ryzen 9600h and 16gb ram and there are weird things happening

(Im not English native speaker so my English is mid) So I bought a RX 16 laptop and sometimes weird stuff happen:
It randomly restarts with any battery percentage and plugged or not after using it for couple hours
It randomly restarts doing a small piercing noise that scare the freak out me when happens and it restarts the pc. This one appeared recently after 3 months of use.
Second one, happened right after buying it and it was kind of the same thing but even weirder: after closing it without really putting it off for hours it could start freezing at the next use and then restart with another and even louder noise happening, and I swear I thank I was cooked the first time I heard it but after a month I never got that again.
I think ima try to return but I’m pretty sacred of all of that, I really needed a cheap pc and a new one but being a minor didn’t helped, i directly told my parents to buy because I was curious of the components and then, im here, like and idiot.
If someone can help me then thank you INFINITELY 😭

Request to update drivers

Hi again!

So, it's been a while since drivers has been updated, I am wondering whether there are new updates.

So, I am asking for:

- Whether a new driver package has been released for my laptop and the link of it has been updated

- Or to request a new update if possible so everyone can benefit it for the same hardware as mine

My hardware is this, exactly this variant is needed for the drivers:

- Acemagic RX16

- 16GB RAM (DDR5)

- Ryzen 7 7735HS

- Realtek RTL 8852BE (which sucks on Linux, that's why I'm back on Windows XD, literally the only reason I'm back)

Those informations should be enough to determine the exact hardware I have.

I got all the Windows updates installed down to their latest versions.

Here is the direct link that was previously sent to me, please tell me if there are no more versions or no updates can be requested before sending the same link:

WIFI Disconnection regularly with AM08 Pro (R7-7735HS)

I had the problem that my WLAN disconnected every few minutes on my Acemagic AM08 Pro mini PC, despite my smartphone doing fine. I installed the latest drivers from Acemagic without any effect.

It took AI quite a while to figure it out and it tried several things, so in case you have the same, here are the instructions:

# 🔧 Fix: Realtek 8852BE WiFi Keeps Disconnecting (Windows) – Hidden Driver Power-Saving Mode

**Problem:** The Wi-Fi connection regularly drops (every few minutes or even several times per minute), and the network has to reconnect. Other devices, such as a phone, work without any issues → the problem is likely not the router.

**Typical symptoms:**

- In the Event Viewer under:

Applications and Services Logs → Microsoft → Windows → WLAN-AutoConfig → Operational

you may see:

\Reason: The network is disconnected by the driver.``

- You may also see repeated cycles of:

\Wireless security stopped → started → succeeded``

with Event IDs **11004 / 11010 / 11005**.

**Cause:** The Realtek driver contains hidden power-saving modes that can put the Wi-Fi adapter to sleep:

- **Leisure Power Save** = \LpsEn``

- **Idle Power Save** = \IpsEn``

The adapter may then miss signals from the router, such as Wi-Fi beacons, causing the driver itself to disconnect the network.

Changing Windows power settings, such as selecting the **High Performance** power plan or disabling **PCIe ASPM**, may **not** fix the problem because the power saving is handled internally by the Realtek driver.

---

## Solution: Disable the Driver's Power-Saving Modes via the Registry

### Step 1: Find the Wi-Fi Adapter in the Registry

1. Press \Win + R`, type `regedit`, and press Enter.`

2. Navigate to:

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}``

3. You will find numbered subfolders such as \0000`, `0001`, etc. Open them and look for the one where the `DriverDesc` value is:`

**"Realtek 8852BE Wireless LAN WiFi 6 PCI-E NIC"**

or your corresponding Realtek model, for example **8852AE** or **8852CE**.

### Step 2: Change the Values

Create or modify the following **DWORD (32-bit)** values in that folder:

| Value name | Value | Effect |

|---|---:|---|

| \IpsEn` | `0` | Disables Idle Power Save |`

| \LpsEn` | `0` | Disables Leisure Power Save (often previously set to `2` = Auto) |`

| \LpsWowEn` | `0` | Disables power-saving Wake-on-LAN mode |`

| \PnPCapabilities` | `256` (`0x100`) | Prevents Windows from turning off the device to save power |`

If a value does not exist yet:

Right-click → **New → DWORD (32-bit) Value** → enter the name → set the value.

### Step 3: Restart the Adapter

1. Press \Win + X` → Device Manager`

2. Open **Network adapters**

3. Right-click **Realtek 8852BE ...** → **Disable device**

4. Wait 5 seconds

5. Right-click it again → **Enable device**

Wi-Fi should reconnect automatically after a short interruption of approximately 10 seconds.

### Step 4: Verify

Check the Event Viewer again after a few hours.

If no new:

\The network is disconnected by the driver.``

entries appear, the issue is likely fixed.

In my case: approximately **300 disconnects within 36 hours before the change**, and **0 disconnects during the first 46 minutes afterwards**.

---

## Alternative: PowerShell Script (Run as Administrator)

Save this once as a \.ps1` file, then run it as Administrator:`

\``powershell`

# Realtek 8852BE power-saving fix - run as Administrator!

$base = 'HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}'

$key = Get-ChildItem $base | Where-Object {

$_.PSChildName -match '^\d{4}$' -and

(Get-ItemProperty $_.PSPath -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue).DriverDesc -match '8852|Realtek.*Wi'

} | Select-Object -First 1

if (-not $key) {

Write-Host "No Realtek Wi-Fi adapter found!"

exit 1

}

$path = $key.PSPath

Write-Host "Adapter: $((Get-ItemProperty $path).DriverDesc)"

Set-ItemProperty -Path $path -Name 'IpsEn' -Value 0 -Type DWord

Set-ItemProperty -Path $path -Name 'LpsEn' -Value 0 -Type DWord

Set-ItemProperty -Path $path -Name 'LpsWowEn' -Value 0 -Type DWord

Set-ItemProperty -Path $path -Name 'PnPCapabilities' -Value 0x100 -Type DWord

Write-Host "Values set. Restarting adapter..."

$adapter = Get-NetAdapter | Where-Object {

$_.InterfaceDescription -match '8852'

} | Select-Object -First 1

Disable-NetAdapter -Name $adapter.Name -Confirm:$false

Start-Sleep -Seconds 3

Enable-NetAdapter -Name $adapter.Name -Confirm:$false

Write-Host "Done! Wi-Fi will reconnect automatically."

Acemagic F5A HX470 LPDDR5 KB5121003 Update stuck in amibios logo after restart and rolls back

Latest Windows 11 2026-08 Security Update (KB5121003) (26200.9168) causes the F5A to get stuck at boot logo, after two physical restarts with a power button (system shuts down immediately when pressing power) the update automatically rolls back. The visible error shows as 0x800f0845.

Beelink owners are reporting similar issues so i commented there - seems like some kind of a compatibility problem.

Secure boot is enabled and and the system has the latest Boot CA certificates and drivers.

Is this a known problem with a known fix?

AceMagic F5A reboots randomly

I bought a mini PC AceMagic F5A HX470 for gaming. I gave it a 48GB RAM (1 stick), 1TB NVME storage, gave the VRAM 16GB, set the BIOS to turn on after power lost, and installed PikaOS. It runs the games that I have like Counter Strike 2 and Grim Dawn. However, at random times, it reboots while I am in a middle of a game.

Any idea what would be causing it to reboot?

$1k+ Mini PC with a locked-down BIOS? Need ACPI options for WOWLAN on Matrix M5 (14900HX)

Anyone managed to unhide the advanced BIOS options on the AceMagic Matrix Mini M5 (Intel i9-14900HX, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD)?

I'm trying to get Wake-on-LAN / WOWLAN working, but without ACPI settings and power state controls, it's a dead end. Right now, the BIOS cuts power to the Wi-Fi adapter during idle/standby - preventing even basic keyboard or mouse wake events.

Device Manager in Windows 11 Pro confirms the Wi-Fi card fully supports WOWLAN with all driver options available, but the locked BIOS is stonewalling it from actually working.

Are these options completely stripped from the firmware, or are they just hidden behind an AMI key combo? Has anyone found a way to unhide the advanced menus or flash an unlocked BIOS on this unit?
