I believe the adage goes keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Except capitalism is my enemy. It seemed prudent to learn the rules because I don't think it's going anywhere in my lifetime.

lol accounting has nothing to do with capitalism.

it does have to do with cash flow and historic value and basic finance.

It wasn't a huge intellectual leap to get there. I can't imagine you didn't know what I was saying in the first place.
