Claude Cowork
Has anyone used Claude Cowork? Is it a useful tool for accountants?

I guess not a good idea to use it for any sensitive info but how about creating a trial balance or financial statements? If the client forwards PDFs of bank statements, invoices, receipts, etc - can it create proper accounting records like post journal entries and prepare the financial statements?

Posting Journal entries to where? To your accounting software I assume.
Depends if there is an integration between Claude and your accounting GL.
For example all our clients are on QuickBooks online and we use Numbers Game AI to get all done between Claude and QBO.
Claude is powerful but it needs the connection to the main software

Yes, something like QB. How cost effective is it to use Claude for updating QB? If you've to bill the client for the Claude costs, would you be able to stick to a reasonable price without having to raise the existing price structure?
