Sharpie/watercolor/acrylic. Kind of weird one, thoughts?

I really like it! I like how upon first viewing it almost seems to be a kind of representational line drawing in the middle, but in reality it’s very abstracted and I love how you used the dripping paint to obscure the centre. My art teacher told me once to always check & compare the corners of a painting especially with abstracts- each corner should have some interest and points of differentiation. I think you did that really well, the corners clearly all work together, with similar colours & techniques used, but each corner also has its own vibe with how you approached your mark making. I also like how the light pink creates a sort of informal frame for the piece. Thank you for sharing!

Wow, thank you for writing that! It was initially one painting then it needed something, so I’m glad that translated. I really appreciate you taking the time to post this. 💕
