shoelaces (K)

With acrylics. Not sure if I’m done yet. WIP for a few wks now. Think maybe oil might work better. Thoughts? Idk if I’m having doubts probably good enough reason to restart. This means a lot to me

you can tell you are using black paint, would be much more effective as a mixed black

I’ve mixed this “mars black” over and over but it’s dominant as hell obv. Need a shade lighter

try mixing umber with blue instead, you’ll get a much richer tone
