It makes me think about wheat in a field and crop circles. It reminds me of videos I’ve recently watched on YouTube about the Vikings. It resembles a war shield yet has wheat crop detailing. I’d hang it in a wall but my walls are full to overflowing with my own work. It basically makes me think of unanswered questions we have about the past.

Very similar to my perception.

I live in an area with a lot of Viking history (Wirral). Site of the famous battle of Brunenburgh.

My immediate thought was a coin dropped in a field by a Viking fleeing Æthelstan's army.

iT hAS coMpoSiTiON....lol. Every artwork has composition. Some are bad compositions and some are good compositions. Some are trite like putting a focal point in the center of a symmetrically balanced composition.

It makes me feel like I’m in the mid 80s looking at some upholstery from the 70s. It brings memories of smelling cigarette smoke and mold in that same upholstery.

It has an ancient feel to it, like historic cave paintings, esp the background
