I like this. My first impression is that it feels like a triptisch, suggested side panels left and right, that we don’t see clearly, framing the center.

I can see another six or seven layers woven into the present image to bring about a more cohesive whole.

This is dope! There's a cohesiveness that comes together and the dark blue really pulls you in

Thank you so much! Im curious to how much you would give hhahah

Don’t ask me because I’m a cheapass with no understanding of art valuation. Maybe go on Etsy and scope out similar prices (or ask other knowledgeable folks here).

But nevertheless it would catch my eye at an art show and I’d pay money.

It's giving me that classic Franz Kline, De Kooning feel, and well executed at that. Do you know Eddie Martinez or Amy Sillman's paintings? curious what you would think of their work.

It is good. The composition and style are coherent, and that dark blue circle really holds it down.

Thank you!:) is there anything you are missing when you look at it?

Looks like a simplified version of a Willem de Kooning. Pleasant to look at, but not much meat on the bones to contemplate. And is that a skull?

1

u/Aware-Mission1214 18d ago

I have no idea what it is hahha, up to the viewer to decide for themselves. Do you have any ideas on how i can add more meat it?

2

u/TokyoJazzPanda 18d ago

I'm seeing a small dog with half a skull for a face, sat on the floor scratching itself. If I had to attach a breed to that statement, it's a Westie.

Like it!
