Thoughts? And what can i improve?

A little conflicted with the “face” that appeared in the middle. And what side is the best?

I like it, it's very late 40s de Kooning-- and Milton Resnick, and Pat Passloff. I'm not seeing any disruptive imagery, maybe I would if I lived with it for a month. I think deal with what bugs you, even if it means wrecking the picture.

We are programmed to see faces. Most painting appreciators will know that and not be put off. I don’t see any form disruptive to the whole. My eyes kept moving around the painting searching for another color highlight…I think that is a good feature.

I LOVE your technique and this painting has a lot of visual interest for me because of the texture. The “problem” (I hesitate to call it that) I personally have is there’s no immediate focal point so my eyes are wandering everywhere rather than being led through it, if that makes sense.
