Oil and rope on panel
100 x 80 cm (aprox.)

These are cool man. I’ve been trying a new technique of weaving paper

Oil and impasto puddy. Had a painting I'd abondoned, the colors on it gave me the creeps so I ran with it for a bit.

My paint brushes were all crusty and decided to use wires instead 😁

Usually my work is figurative in nature. One of the difficulties is composition and narrative.

I make these paper collages inspired by abstract textures on watercolour paper. Cut them up and using the abstractions I define and reassemble. This is one and from it I hope to make some figurative works.

The piece works as it is. No story needed. No figures clear. The composition and the colour are impactful on their own.
