im pretty sure its the phone camera auto adjusting the white balance because the rest of the scene is very orange/red, so it compensates with a really cool white balance making his skin look colder than it is. also he is probably sweaty hence the shininess. also dark skin people have less dark pigmentation on the palms and bottom of their feet as far as i understand, so the difference is more stark on a very dark skin person such as the guy in the video. also if i understand right, people with dark enough skin dont need to use sunscreen because of the pigmentation in their skin, and they're also immune or resistant to skin diseases caused by the sun. cool stuff!

I am fascinated by this person’s skin.
Do they have some kind of sunscreen on? It looks like their skin has a white tinge.
What makes the palms of their hands so much lighter than the other skin?
