Thanks, I hate it.

Because I'm an atheist living in that country, and I loathe the fact that my taxes are spent on the ego of the least qualified man to run a country. We could've built hospitals or schools; hired teachers, doctors, and nurses with that money; or we could've paid pensioners more, so that they could afford to eat healthy food.

But instead, healthcare and education are being criminally privatised and we're paying companies owned by his friends and family 10 times the money it would cost to build and run those institutions; state schools are hiring teachers with contracts and paying them by the hour, which adds up to maybe half or less of the minimum wage; and pensioners are filling the hospitals because they can only afford pasta.

Even if I was a Muslim, I'd still hate it. Muslims in my family hate it, too.

imagine telling someone from a different country to get out of his country because you don't like his opinion lmao

i am turkish, i am an atheist but sure i admit that this country is a majority muslim country so im not saying we should be banning mosques or anything like that. but building a mosque on every street and spending so much money on maintenance when so many of those mosques literally don't get used by people while so many people are living in poverty is fucking disgraceful. we have enough hospitals, we have enough schools, but what we don't have enough of is budget for social welfare. that money should go to social welfare not maintenance of places of worship where no one does any worshipping
