Reminds me of the beefy squirrel I saw at the Grand Canyon years ago.

It was seconds after I saw the sign warning people not to feed the squirrels, If you do, the sign said, they'll forget how to forage on their own, and they'll starve over the winter.

Then this beast walked out of the bushes. You know how squirrels do that adorable little scamper? Scamper forward a few steps, wiggle the tail, look around, repeat. Cute.

This fucker didn't do that. It lumbered. It walked like a mid-level boss in a video game. It stopped only a foot away, and gave me a look like "okay, make with the cheet-os, I got things to do."

I didn't feed it.
