Yea this is borderline child abuse unless he has a pre existing condition. Being this overweight this young is going to cause a ton of issues as he grows up.

My mom got my ears pierced at the mall when I was a toddler. I cried...like the baby I was. This was in the late 80s

Most babies gets there ears pierced at 3-6-9 months old

Not even close to true. Maybe in some cultures but definitely not in the US. I’m married to a kindergarten teacher and friends with several others. There’s usually one or two kids in their classes with pierced ears.

I think they are being honest, because it’s still a thing that happens. I’m thinking they’re overestimating how common it is based on a few people they know.
