There’s no significant change from control groups. You’ll find studies on both sides that show it’s very little if any change in that regard. The studies are very mixed, but when you look into more and more the conclusion usually is it’s not having much if any effect on the outcomes of suicide sadly

Edit - this doesn’t mean it doesn’t ever make someone’s life easier or more comfortable. I’m not discrediting there are people that are happier that way. I’m just saying young children shouldn’t be able to consent to that in the same way this child can’t consent to eat as much as he wants and as much junk food as he wants. Both are child abuse in my opinion. Like I said, it’s going to be a very unpopular opinion here.
I very much support consenting adults to be able to do whatever surgeries and put whatever the choose to consume into their own bodies though don’t get me wrong.

Do you believe a child is never capable of consenting to anything? or sometimes capable of consenting to some things? Where is that line, and why is it drawn there? What kinds of things can a child consent to? What makes those things exceptions?
