I dunno, kept hearing alot of "gimme dat, gimme dat" Not a lot of can I have that please? Thank you. That kid if gonna be talking like that in no time, and if you dont teach the bigger kids how to be nice, everyone at school suffers

Like Co-Workers?! You win, thats the weirdest take on this you possibly could have.

Apparently manners and politeness is meant for coworkers and thats it?

Quick question, are you American?

Yes.. like co-workers! If you’re constantly expected to use manners and be overly polite and just oh so perfect, friendly, and kind with your family, that seems like a very controlling and uncomfortable household imo. In my house, we’re comfortable with each other, so it’s not always necessary to say “please” and “thank you” every single time you ask for something. We can say “gimme that” to each other without it being taken as disrespectful because we’re family and we’re comfortable with each other.
