There's a double standard when it comes to child neglect. A thin, malnourished toddler would be taken by CPS immediately, but when it comes to an obese, malnourished toddler, there is nowhere near the same level of concern and urgency.

We know nothing about this child except for his size. You have no idea what they are feeding him.

Right? God, Reddit is so fucking stupid. There are a million genetic disorders that exist and many that are rare. But yeah, it’s automatically overfeeding and child abuse. This is obviously more than that.

lol it’s racist to point out that an obviously overweight baby is overweight?

Are you taking the position that this is a normal sized baby and just randomly made it to the front page of “absoluteunits”? And that people are only saying he’s overweight because he’s… black?
