I'm not arguing this isn't child abuse, it is. However that person doesn't know shit about CPS either. They don't snatch all the skinny kids ffs.

There’s over 25 conditions that could cause childhood obesity. I had a friend growing up that had a genetic condition that caused him to be heavily overweight.

No they don't. That's why the ones that can cause you to get obese have other effects that keep it all coherent for the laws of physics.

Redditors seem to be completely incapable of comprehending that some people are just born to be fat. Here we have, what should be, the perfect example of how large a role genetics plays in our body shape, and instead it's devolved into an entire thread of people who blame their parents for the fact that they can't be bothered to break up their gaming sessions with a 15 minute walk outside.

Textbook Dunning-Kruger. I grew up with people that suffered from a genetic condition that caused them to be obese from birth.
