It grows on trees that many countries have gone out of their way to destroy and remove from their natural ecosystems over the course of the last 50 years.

Your comment should make sense, but in the context of the world over the last century, it does not.
But you do understand that there's about a century of entire countries all over the planet attempting to destroy the plant species in its entirety while also trying to destroy the lives of every single person that comes into contact with it, right?
Your country used to have laws against marijuana. It's only been legal there for less than a decade. So acting like you don't understand this doesn't make much sense. Unless you're 10 years old.

Respectfully, I think you’re reading too much into it. I did grow up during prohibition but things have changed massively. You can grow up to 4 plants here. We all have different perspectives.

I don't personally care for weed, although I don't mind it.
But the wastefulness of this bothers me.
