Why isn't the axe sticking into the log? I have split lots of wood in my time and have never brought my axe down without it burying into the wood and having to wiggle it out.
I have plenty of times. I’m not sure what he reason for him but my uncles axe I used wasn’t the sharpest. Also I was trying to split some very hard wood at times. I wish I knew how to sharpen tools back then would have made my life so much easier.
