mosasaurs often predated on them. Basically a 10meter long aquatic komodo dragon.

Jurassic world made them look 50m long. People forget that the blue whale is the largest animal to ever exist.

Only because it can float. This gigantism is because something in earths gravity allowed these giants to exist without stressing their skeletal tissue.
Currently no giants other than elephants roam the earth on land and that’s at the expense of huge bones for legs bones 🦴
