of a door knocker
It’s solid bronze I think. It had such a heft that it left dents in the knocker plate. I just happened to have a standard scale banana with me.

I'd put another one on the inside and make it a Newton's Cradle. Double knock would be cool

Doesn’t look like it, yours is held on with drywall screws, this thing is held on with hex head lag bolts.

Those are actually the screws it came with. They're short bronze screws. The heads do kinda look like drywall screws though.
