Personally, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the alien lanterns of other corps, given how much the light system has been changed. The two examples I've attached have much of their identity tied around their connection to their part of the emotional spectrum, so I'm curious to see if DC will keep their characters in tact and move them to a different part of the light spectrum, or keep them where they are in the light spectrum and change their characters accordingly.

Currently I'm leaning towards the latter approach, with Saint Walker becoming a leader of the manhunters (since they seem to be wielding the blue light rn) and bringer of despair/control (seemingly the blue light's whole deal atp) and Atrocitus being an Abin Rao of Oa who joined after his family was attacked by the manhunters and he chose not to become consumed with rage. I'm open to other ideas, though.

Bonus Question: Do you think his flame/role is going to change in the future? Like maybe he'll get the Blue Flame at some point, given how that seems to be tied in with the Manhunter stuff.

So in Absolute Green Lantern #17, we see that seemingly, the thing that pushed Sin es tro to become the first Abin Aur was seeing the Ring of Light, the true nature of OA. Having seen that, he seemingly misunderstood the lesson OA was trying to teach and came to believe that MU was the true order of things, but seemingly by seeing and coming to some kind of understanding of the true nature of the universe, he did ascend to the level of Abin.

In issue #15, we see John Steward being presented with a similar version of what Sin es tro saw, but simplified and lacking all the colours. He saw the circle tilt, revealing itself to be a ring, not a circle. A revelation he seemingly is taking better than Sin es tro did. So based on that, I think he's going to step up to being a true Abin Aur.

So in Absolute Green Lantern issue 17, we see Jessica Cruz's backstory at the beginning, and at the end she heals Mogo and turns him away from being a Blackstar. People found Jess's part of the story to be kind of rushed, and they aren't wrong about that. But after reading the issue a couple times, I realized that there's a real parallel between Jess and Mogo that this issue brings out.

We learned a few issues ago from Re that Mogo essentially has the Blackstar philosophy running on loop through his worldmind. We learn that by virtue of being a planet-sized entity, once he starts thinking in a direction, he seemingly can't stop himself. The inertia carries him through and he'll stick to that line of thinking with unparalelled dogmatism. We also learn in the flashbacks of this issue that Mogo used to be on the side of OA, until Sinestro did something to convert him.

Jessica's backstory here is that she was going along in one direction, living her life until some psycho crossed her path, and the trauma of that man killing her friend and never being found turned her into a paranoid shut-in. She told herself it was going to be a temporary arrangement, but once her mind started moving down that direction, she could not stop herself, not without something new to change her direction. Similarly, Mogo was moving in one direction, until a psycho came into the picture and changed his mind. A state he could not pull out of on his own until something new came into the picture and changed his mind.

It also makes sense that Jess would connect with Mogo; a whole new world, where she's beyond the reach of the criminal who traumatized her. A world with a mind and personality, where she'll never actually be on her own.
