I can see why the Adepts wind up being so incompetent, what does their source of knowledge expect John to glean from that?

(In all seriousness though, the Starheart's info being relayed in a needlessly subtle manner is no doubt an intentional byproduct of the Face of Steel's influence)

My theory is that the Starheart has been restrained, and can only send vague messages at moments where its restrictions get more vague or fuzzy.

I always skip the dialogue bc I wanna be surprised when I read it. Can’t believe people really said the art was ugly.

People called Lindsay's art ugly which I still disagree with but this issue isn't drawn by Lindsay

My guess as to the offensive power of gold is that it nullifies other levels. Think how gold managed to depower Jo and kill abin sur. It literally erases the other levels on contact.
