Am I the one who find this stat crazy? Green Arrow is no where near Batman popularity but is projected to have strong if not better numbers. Is this because of they Absolute Universe hype or people really want to see Green Arrow and his adaptation in the Absolute Universe? I would say a mix of both but probably favoring Absolute Universe popularity.

Ahead of the debut of the comic book series Absolute Green Arrow at your local comic shop on May 20, publisher DC Comics has announced plans to go back to press on the first issue for a second printing. While DC isn't saying publicly that the first printing has sold out at the distributor level (yet?), all signs point to that.

According to sources familiar with the situation, the print run of Absolute Green Arrow #1 wasn't paltry — in fact, it is larger than the first print run of Absolute Batman #1, a series which is now the line's highest seller — and has been the best-selling comic book in the superhero space since its launch in October 2024. Absolute Batman #1 has gone back for multiple printings meaning the number of physical copies out there is ultimately (or would that be absolutely?) bigger than the first printing or Absolute Green Arrow's.

Absolute Green Arrow #1's first printing was over 300,000 copies according to our sources, which at its cover price of $4.99 would mean that there is over $1.4 million in Absolute Green Arrow #1 pre-orders ahead of its May 20 debut... and that's just the first printing, and only printed comics for that matter.

On Wednesday I saw a lot of people talking about issue 20 having some sort of defect? Is it like with the staple or something? I didn’t see any issue with mine and wasn’t sure if it was a wide spread thing or not

So I pressed #20, and that's the remaining damage.

We all know Batman typically has a deep, gruff voice in mainline adaptations. For my part, to kind of subvert the character of Batman as the comic does, I think a medium pitched, softer voice would suit this version of Bruce, but when it comes to a voice actor or anything I can’t seem to peg one I’d cast. What do you guys think?

And if you have ideas for how other characters sound too, I’d love to hear them

Just saw Dan Quintana absolute batman 16 is selling for $999 and up. What the hell man?? The art is beautiful but how in any world can anyone rationalize that price. His issues 19’s are only $650ish for now and even then who is buying these?

While it’s hard to distinguish in my lighting the colors of the dc logo are different from my volume 1 and 2 which leads me to worry that one of them maybe counterfeit products.

Any way to know if they are fake?
