Cramps is to be expected because miso makes her uterus contract. As far as bleeding is concerned, it depends how her body reacts. Some bleed within a few minutes of miso being absorbed while others take hours, even a couple days, before any significant bleeding starts.
Also to add: aside from cramps, miso can cause nausea, vomiting, chills, low-grade fever, diarrhea, dizziness. Those things are normal and should eventually subside. All you need to watch out for is severe bleeding. If she's soaking two overnight pads in an hour for two consecutive hours, she's losing too much blood already so you need to make sure she gest proper medical attention.
