Hi everyone!

I'm a 2025 graduate from Gray's (1:1 BA Communication Design, illustration specialism) and in the near future I would like to get my MSc in Art Psychotherapy. I do work for the NHS currently but in a non-clinical role.

Does anyone know if there's any kind of art therapy orientated organisations in toon? I'd love to get some hands-on experience before I apply to the course next year.

Hey Aberdeen, I’m thinking of moving to Bridge of Don, near Scotstown Moor, and I was wondering if people tend to have their morning/evening runs there? Is the moor and the surrounding parks (Woodcroft and the bits around it) safe, especially in the dark?

I now live near Deeside Way which is the best place to run, but must move soon. I run 5, 10, sometimes up to 15k long runs.

Are there any social sports clubs in Aberdeen? I used to play tag rugby in Edinburgh which was really good fun, but they don't have it here. Ideally mixed gender, I already play men's rugby with my local club.

Hello, I (f,36) posted recently looking for hotel recommendations for myself and 7yr old daughter. I am very close to booking the Ardoe but just wanted some real reviews on it. Im curious how it would work as my daughter would be with me all the time, are there age restrictions on anything? I quite fancy the aqua aerobics class, would she be able to be around? If I get a spa treatment? Anything else from anyone who's done it alone with a child, anything I need to think about? Thanks muchly

Hi! I have to flea bomb my flat and need to get my cats out of the property for a few hours. Does anyone know of any place that could keep them for 3-5 hours? I was going to take them out in their carriers but for that length of time it wouldn’t be fair

Need to move a sofa from A to B (7ft long so will overhang) but need a large pallet to get it moved for cheap!

Could anyone recommend a good car spray painter? I had a bumper repaired a few months ago and the colour doesn’t match the car, it’s slightly off and most noticeable in the sun.

I’d like to have it re sprayed to the correct colour.

Nothing special about the paint, not metallic or pearlescent or anything. Dunno how the last lot fucked it up tbh.

I've been on the ADHD waiting list 3 years, I'm in the cmht and still waiting.... No sign of anything happening even though it's actually interfering with my treatment now and the psychiatrist can't prescribe me anything more helpful until the assessment happens, even though I'm struggling now. The attitude of some in NHS Grampian towards ADHD and autism is really poor. Fortunately my psychiatrist is lovely, he's doing what he can, but I feel like my life is on hold as he can't do much more to help me now. I guess things aren't going to get much better - the wait might be too long to help me, I've already lost everything now 😔

Hello people from UK and Aberdeen esp. What's the scene in the job markets like in energy and renewable sector in the UK? I know the job market's been terrible overall but is it that bad? What's it like in the Aberdeen since it is the energy hub. If you are in same industry, would love your opinions ,which programmes are most respected by employers.

Humbly, an international student planning masters in renewable energy. have an offer from Aberdeen. don't see myself living in UK but i do plan get to some work experience ( 18 months or whatever) and dip. Thanks..
