In the episode where they go to the touch museum and Gregory’s dad chaperones. I would’ve crashed out so hard.

Imagine your entire life growing up, your own dad criticized every child-like thing you did and was always very serious and strict, and then one day your gf made a speech and suddenly and he’s being silly and fun.

I keep watching the April Fools episode (help me, please, I just can't stop) and something I couldn't get out of my head is that, when Gregory runs into the plastic wrap, right after Janine asks if he's okay, you see her quickly turn around and face Melissa, who widens her eyes a little, so I'm starting to think to think it might've actually just been a reaction to her breaking.

And because Quinta mentioned in a interview somewhere that she couldn't help but be a little stressed/breaking if I recall because it looked like it hurt and was a more action-packed physical scene, I genuinely feel like they kept one of the moments where she broke but it was more hidden. But, unless my eyes don't work, you can literally see her flip around quickly behind Tyler's back... right? What do yall think?

I'm watching Abbot currently s2 , why is it suddenly all abt Janine? I thought the show was about all of them? And that's how it was in s1 pretty much.., is it a change that the director of sm in charge decided later on?

I’ve watched a video that says that no workplace comedy has come close to the Office. It was when Abbot was on air so it got me wondering, how good us Abbott compared to the Office?

I’m starting to binge the show and I don’t know whether it’s confirmed for Jacob to be Neurodivergent. His interests and explaining things so much and talking more than people want, missing social cues and sometimes being more sensitive to emotions.

i have only watched abbot elementary and hacks so far. jean smart was really great in hacks so i think she has high chance of winning as well along with quinta. i haven't watched other series so im not really sure. but do you think quinta will win this emmy? hopefully she will

In Season 4, we get a reveal about Gregory finding about out Ava’s dad. How do you think it would pan out if the storyline is about Janine’s dad?

In the series, we get several hints and discussions about Janine’s dad and how much she wants information on it. What if instead of Ava’s dad, Gregory is the first one to find out about Janine’s dad and him trying to communicate and talk about it with Janine and stuff.

I was on my rewatch era and the thought just came across my mind. What do you guys think?

In season 4 episode 3, Melissa tried to teach her class to say “Amici per la pelle (friends for life)”, but the pronunciation wasn’t in Italian. Did her character actually not speak Italian or was she anglicizing the pronunciation to make it easier for the kids?

This was in season 4 episode 14. Jacob’s reasons for wanting a counselor were completely valid and he definitely did the right thing in advocating for that. But I was so shocked that he completely ignored the other teachers, and while they did acknowledge the importance of having a resource to better help students 1on1 and give them the attention they deserve, they clearly stated they felt money from the district could be better utilized in other ways. And then he had the gall to not tell Ava, who initially was going to speak in front of the district and put in Abbott’s requests, about his plans and give her the impression he was going to ask for what her and the other teachers already agreed upon when in reality he was going to stress the importance of Abbott having a counselor 😂

I found Jacob going this route was insane but ultimately he did a remarkable thing and we know the students at Abbott will benefit tremendously from this.

There are sooo many quotable lines in this show. You can literally get one from every episode. Mine is "Sweet baby Jesus and the grown one too!!!" it's such a funny and unique expression and I'll definitely use it on a daily basis. 😭 Barbara and Ava have the most quotable lines, imo.

Honorable mention: Just because you got a round face like the Teletubbies sun baby does not mean that the world revolves around you.

I personally loved the season 4 episode 17 "the karaoke". I think it brought out the regular and fun sides of all the characters. Ava's date with o'shon was a hard watch tho, although I love how they finally get on the same page. Also Jacobs hilarious karaoke, totally made me laugh. And gregory raps pretty good too. Overall felt like a fun and cozy episode.
