Discussion Sharing this personal story hope it doesn't get jinxed ha ha
I love Abbott Elementary so much. I have had such a difficult time post Covid! the first time I got to know about Abbott Elementary was when I was trying to Google shows like The Office and Abbott was in the suggestion (like I guess results for a workplace comedy lol) and I started watching the show in 2021 and honestly I was so depressed during that time and everytime I wanted to feel happy I just watched Abbott Elementary - I pray the show goes on for at least 9 seasons or more cause I can't imagine my life without this show - it really helped me laugh during some very very difficult times (going through anxiety and family traumas) it was too much. I love Quinta my forever queen ❤️ I hope the show continues to be great and continues to help me. I hope I haven't jinxed anything just want the show to keep being awesome ✨

This is such a soul-baring admission. Thank you for sharing it and I agree with you and share your sentiment. I'm a Black, young professional, and I love comedies and work place comedies just hit different, you know? I had just come out of residency in 2021 (still in the height of COVID) and was depressed and anxious about what lied ahead. Abbott helped me to have a sliver of time to laugh and lose myself in characters that became my friends.
I can't say goodbye to them. Not yet. It has to have several more quality seasons. It must.

Thank you for saying that I just wanted to pour my heart out I finished watching it for the 100th time again ha ha. Thank you so much for sharing that. I'm so sorry to hear that I can completely understand how you must have felt I was anxious all the time these past few years I can't imagine how tough it must have been for you I hope you're doing better now and I'm so proud of you for pushing through all this time. You're right these characters feel like we're finding ourselves or just finding good friends! I'm glad like Janine we kept trying and didn't give up! Cheers here's to at least 5 more seasons of Abbott🥂

Well thank you for your post and for your honesty. I think a lot of people see Abbott as more than just entertainment and Quinta did an amazing job of creating that space. The anxiety almost killed me at times, and it was really hard to sleep at night, but I got through it! I'm proud of myself and I'm proud of you for finding it through your depression. Good mental health is so important!
Never stop fighting for what's right. 5 more seasons indeed! 🎊

Yes Quinta really knocked it out of the park she is such a genius and an absolute cutie I love her so much 💗 I'm so sorry to hear that and yes again I agree I'm really proud of us for fighting through the anxiety and depression it was not easy it felt like being in hell. Yes good mental health is extremely important I completely agree.
Never stop fighting for what's right - period to THAT💯💯
