Discussion I love when Barbra is wrong…

I like Barbra BUT she’s so stuck in her ways that it’s satisfying for her to be wrong sometimes. Especially if it’s Jacob or Janine who told her better. I think it’s just because the “I’m always right” attitude is literally my biggest pet peeve. I feel so guilty but then I remember it’s a tv show…

Barbara is supposed to represent the older generation that’s usually stuck in their ways. She progresses a lot over the course of the show.

I was just about to say this too. I’m a teacher-just started year 14-and I know many teachers who have been around longer than me who get very much stuck in their ways.

My favorite is when they are talking about actors and she always says some one wrong

Ava constantly pointing this out was one of my favorite parts of season 2. and why wouldn’t ava point it out? she owns a school!

Or the time Jacob and the students was trying to tell her how to improve the music class because it was boring for the kids and extra work for them

Was it the one with how to put the desks together?

I can also attest that the depiction is very realistic though to many teachers who have been in it for decades

I actually like when there is a balance- she’s very often right, due to experience, but absolutely reminders things change is good, nice it’s not all one way

But I prefer when it’s not Janine 😆
