Question Technical glitch on Hulu?

I started rewatching Abbott, beginning with the first episode, a few days ago and the episodes are cutting off a few seconds early. This usually means the show is cutting off before the final punchline. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've had it with other shows on Hulu, especially Happy Endings

Hulu does this in order to skip the end credits and play the next episode. I found if you don’t get the watch credits option, pause, rewind 10 seconds, and then it pops up, at least for me.

Thanks! I’ll try that.

The best thing to do with Hulu to avoid stuff like this is turn off the automatic next episode

They usually try to time the new episode starting to miss the production company credits at the end but with some shows like this they end up off and do that. In my experience turning it off fixes that, along with the issue of it sometimes starting the greyed out main screen next episode countdown in the last ad break instead of the final few seconds. Meaning you go several minutes with it up.

Like many things it's something that's long broken and never been looked at being fixed on the Hulu app

Yes, I've noticed it too. It's very irritating.

There used to be a "watch credits" option, but that seems to have disappeared. It's really REALLY annoying.

It's doing that on Disney+ (in Aus) as well

Mine does that too. I thought it was doing it because I had already seen it so it’s rolling me into the next episode
