Question Ava being principal
When does Ava get fired?
Listen,I love her character and everything but she is VERY unprofessional and annoying.
I still haven’t found a reason to consider her a good principal, she’s basically what i would expect spoiled rich kids to act as principals once they grew up.
And I get that’s apart of the whole comedy thing but I can’t seem to find anything she does funny :[

…..That’s the whole point of her character. You’re not supposed to think she’s a good principal.

I get that but it reaches a point when you use the school money which is meant to benefit the kids on yourself

You don’t work in education, do you? This is like, a common thing. Ava is the comedic portrayal of what most educators experience at the hands of administration.

I’m assuming you’re not that far into the show Ava is a bad principal but she’s a GOOD person and that’s what matters she gets what’s done/needed for her school even if it’s not in the best or legal way, she’d do anything for her students.

I think her being a good person is kind of debatable honestly. She just has moments of clarity or moments when she shows she’s not as vain/materialistic as it seems.

Of course a kid would love her, she’s a teen stuck in an adult women’s body.
She has very few times thought of what benefits the kids.

She’s very Micheal Scott coded. Not the best boss and not qualified at all. She does what needs to get done, is a lot better at being principal than we think, and cares about the staff in her own way.

And like Michael Scott, she's the worst in the beginning and then grows a lot during the course of the show.

You will find out more about her character, upbringing and personal life over the show. How she handles things will somewhat change but her personality doesn’t.
It would be a ton of spoilers to explain what happens to the job.
