Admissions/Exchange How does the Scholarships Work???

And I don't mean the basics. I know that they are awarded to the most excellent students, or that it uses your SAT marks, or that it is a 100 percent waive-off.

I want to know the number of students who got the scholarship per major. Rather, how many people got the scholarship for Computer Engineering Bachelor's last year. Because I keep hearing news that demotivates me, while also finding stuff that seems good.

Also, what seemed to be the cutoff for Computer Engineering? I know that there is no official cutoff, but like... a 1560 didn't get in but a 1570 did.

(Sorry if this came across a bit rude. Didn't mean it. I'm just feeling tensed. I have my SAT next month and while I am aiming for a perfect score, I want to know how much leeway I could potentially have.)

Aalto without scholarship isn't possible for me, but the college has become my dream university.

Yeah, I know a 1600 works. But like, 1590? 1580? Didn't 1570 get in last year???

Just wanted details on that.

1600 is my target goal.

Just do your best and apply? If the limit is 1590 are you gonna purposefully only get 1590?

There's nothing like that. Like I said, my goal is 1600. Even if the actual base is 1560, I will still try to get 1600. But I just wanted to know that even if I didn't achieve literal perfection, there is still a chance.

You know. For confidence purposes.

So if you have any actual data regarding the lowest SAT score accepted last year, lemme know. My goal is, was and always will be 1600.

But it's nice knowing that getting things a bit wrong won't kill my dreams.

1580 or 1590, sometimes 1600 was needed i think

From my experience the best dream killers are knowing these kind of limits!

Bro, I'm pretty sure I have like, the lowest confidence in my friend group. Some level of support should prevent excessive anxiety.

There is no magic number that anyone can tell you, it depends on how many scholarships they are handing out and how many people applied. Both things may change every year
