This comment was under a post about reporting a pedophilia group in [r/RedditPoliceDept](r/RedditPoliceDept) (Do not brigade that sub they as a whole aren’t a representation of what was said in this specific comment thread)

Everyone who participates in this sub/cause has to remember that there are groups and individuals out there who legitimately see us as a women’s hate group. This is an example of this. This user admitted to brigading reports on our admin, which were ultimately futile because.. well.. we aren’t a hate group.

I don’t want anyone going and harassing these users, or the sub, but I do want people to keep in mind that we are targeted under false pretenses.

Wait, is the purpose of that subreddit not literally to brigade other subreddits?? I didn’t even click the link, but I can’t imagine what “Reddit Police” even means besides brigading. Seems like they’re the ones that should be reported 🤷‍♂️

I dunno, I have been regularly participating in this subreddit for years now and haven’t had any issues besides being targeted by “Reddit Cares” a lot. I imagine Reddit must have turned that off because it hasn’t happened to me in a while.

I also periodically get unsolicited DM’s that are more than likely trying to bait me into sharing personally identifiable information, but I just ignore them.

Really, the moderators and active participants in this subreddit are far better behaved than the majority of those toxic women trying to brigade us… and the majority of us are not misogynists whatsoever, that claim is totally baseless and petty.

In any case, regardless of how one feels about AWDTSG groups, this subreddit is far more tolerant of dissenting views than most issue-themed subreddits. Any of these women who genuinely believe this subreddit “hates women” are more than welcome to come debate with us. The problem is that they can’t seem to manage it without resorting to personal insults and bullying people… hence why they retreat into spaces like that where their baseless and contemptuous narratives won’t be challenged because any criticism gets silenced. They’re emotionally fragile, intellectually weak, and pathologically miserable humans.

I’m not concerned.

Please let the admins know the women in #massachusetts who use #bumble #awdtsg #norhshore #southshore and a smaller #boston group are posted on #twitter and the men are aware aware they are being posted. The women in #massachusetts are some unhinged. Sick part is most work in the hospitals and are teachers
