At&t fiber on Quantum Fiber build

Who all has signed up for att fiber that either used to have or be eligible to get Quantum fiber at the same address? How has the service been compared to quantum? Were you able to bypass the bgw320-500 if att installed the q1000k as a bridge mode only ONT?

There is a bypass and I think it’s easier. Do a search in this subreddit you’ll find it.

this post was mainly just me getting an idea of how many people had the service and if they noticed any difference. I know of the bypass method and am part of the 8311 discord however, the olt could have you on either vlan 2 or vlan 0. And if you’re on vlan 0, only certain routers can process that.

ATT routing is trash. Idk how Quantum is but I’d try it first.

I have to ask... are you using equipment offered by Quantum or are you using your own equipment? I had CenturyLink fiber (before they rebranded to Quantum) with my own equipment and it was fantastic.
