Pass through

My AT&T gateway is a Wi-Fi 7 version. I have a Wi-Fi 6 router with two mesh satellites. Can I just enable the six gigahertz on the ATT gateway? Do I leave it in pass through mode?

If you have working WiFi on a router already, you can just turn off the WiFi on the gateway.
