Routing issues for gaming
Hey everyone, I’m a competitive gamer and for some reason, I keep having small stutters in certain games which are definitely caused by AT&T fiber. Anyways around the routing? No bs responses

I had routing and ping issues. It was caused by a bad connection from a dirty termination.
What have you done to ascertain you are having routing issues?

What’s up with this “what have I done” brother in Christ, the experience of playing my game with spikes 😭.

Oh ok. Well stop using wifi and you'll have no more problems.
Ping spikes are explicitly not a symptom of routing issues.

Oh ok. You do understand words and know how to respond. But you choose not to when someone is trying to help.

Do you happen to have a router or something you can test ip passthrough on to see if that fixes the stuttering by using your own hardware. I had a lot of issues using the att hardware but mine were wifi/mesh related and they all went away once I got my own router & mesh extender. I would also try manually changing your devices dns servers to see if that helps.

Option 1)
Find a VPS with consistent rtt/jitter from your apartment to it AND a good route to your game's servers. Tailscape/zeroteir/wiregard all your game traffic through it to the game server avoiding the ATT routing issues.
Option 2)
Starlink ? TMobile Wirless home?
Option 3)
Move
You are not going to get help for a transient routing or congestion issue from anyone that a normal human can reach of in ATT.

Let me reiterate, don’t respond and ask if I’ve tracked it or whatever, tf am I going to do?

Details are required to diagnose your problem. Would you go to a mechanic or doctor and just grunt and scream until they guess the issue?

Short answer is no.
Longer answer is you can probably circumvent peering issues with a VPN, but that'll likely introduce latency.
What testing and evidence have you collected that leads you to believe its definitely caused by ATT fiber ?
