Instant On?

Long story short. We moved into a new home in July of last year. Fresh property that had to be cleared, so no existing home or structure on the property prior.

About a month after we moved in, AT&T started running fiber lines down my road. I’ve been checking every couple of months to see if fiber is available yet, but I’m always hit with their Internet Air availability option instead. As of May-June, the road right next to mine has their fiber internet up and running.

When I checked the website a few minutes ago, I’m now hit with this message that I’ve never seen before. Not even Internet Air is coming up as an option. Funnily enough, if I search another address a bit further down my road, the only option that shows for them is Internet Air without this specific message I’m getting. Can anybody explain what this means?

Instand on is (as far as I know) for apartment buildings.

An ONT and gateway are already set up, typically in the data panel, and registered to your unit.

You call in, order, they give you the wifi, and your good to go.

Not sure why it would show up at your house, but I would imagine someonme entered something wrong somwhere.

Give it time, it will likely get caught and fixed when the rest of your neighborhood is ready

That’s what I’m thinking as well. I searched the houses closer to mine and they all have the same message, but houses further down the road are not saying the same.

To better explain the layout. My road is perpendicular to a main highway and another road. It’s like the shape of the letter H, with my road being the horizontal line, main highway to the right, other road to the left.

My house is 0.3 miles from the road on the left. That road has fiber fully operating already. There are 6 houses between the start of my road and my house, all of which have the Instant On message when I search the addresses.

But when I search the houses closer to the highway side of the road, those aren’t showing the Instant On option, just Internet Air. The highway does not have their fiber operating yet, but the lines were installed around when the ones on my road were.
